The Greene County Horse Club (GCHC), founded in 1946, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting horse related activities for amateur and professional riders, as well as giving back to our community. The Club is a family oriented organization that places emphasis on friendly competition. Club members are involved in community service projects throughout the year. In the GCHC everyone has an equal voice and recognition.

The Club president's motto:
"All breeds of horses and riders, at many levels of experience, contribute a lot to this organization. Remember, a good ride, fair play, and good sportsmanship make real winners."

The purpose of our shows are to give fellow horse folks somewhere to show and allow us to raise money for various organizations. Some of the charitable organizations we have given to in the past include: Juvenile Diabetes, Shriners, Holston Home, the Food Bank, Children’s Advocacy, local families in need, Katrina Victims, and American Cancer Society.  The Club also sponsors an annual Christmas ride.  Each year we adopt kid(s) and buy them Christmas gifts.  On our Christmas ride, we deliver these gifts on horseback!

In 2010 we are adding a NEW youth program just for the youth in our communities. Please encourage your youth to participate this year!!
